The central Receiving –Transferring station CRTS “Systel”

CRTS “Systel” is software and hardware complex which is used as a part of Automated Dispatching Control Systems (ADCS) as an initial data processing, receiving and transferring device.

The data exchange lines may be radial and main connection lines with the different telemechanical protocols use, as well as the TCP/IP lines with the standard net interface use.

CRTS “Systel” can also be used as an information hub for operative, commercial and technological data receiving and transmission in corporate networks.

The modular structure enables the complex construction for different complexity data receiving and transfer – the compact variants for a few telemechanical lines, and deep reservation complexes for working with numerous lines.

Basic CRTS “Systel” construction variants:

- Reservation variant (two-machine complex)
- No reservation variant (one-machine complex)

CRTS “Systel” have the software, designed for working under multitasking OS like Linux or MS Windows control.

Structure and composition

The CRTS “Systel” body consists of:
  • The industrial computer block (PC)
  • The in-built line adaptors (LA) - special multi-channel processors, which provide the data receiving and transmission by telemechanical and galvanically isolated lines.
  • Galvanic separation modules.
  • Relay Commutator Block (RCB) – for reservation variant.

The CRTS “Systel” software performs the telemechanical protocols, data processing and information display.

CRTS “Systel” has two basic construction variants:
  • Reservation variant (two-machine complex)
  • No reservation variant (one-machine complex)

Basic features
  • The data exchange with telemechanics devices lines -
    • As the communication lines can be used :
      • The separate telephone lines
      • HF-channels by high power lines
      • 4 and 2 hard wire physical connection lines.
      • radio channels;
    • The maximum possible telemechanical full duplex lines of a single CRTS is 128;
    • Data receiving and transfer may be performed at rates :
      • Synchronous bus - 20-9600 bit/s,
      • Asynchronous bus - 20-115 Кbit/s.
  • Coupling with the dispatcher’s board is performed with
    • SOM-port using converter RS232 / RS485;
    • Ethernet port.
  • The data exchange with IOC line- Ethernet 10/100 Мbit/s.
  • The Ethernet exchange lines 10/100 Мbit/s - 1 up to 24.
  • The exchange lines are equipped with galvanic isolation modules on regular basis.
  • More than 40 types of data exchange protocols (international and domestic) are supported including МЭК 870-5-101 and МЭК 870-5-104.
  • The CRTS “Systel” software can work under MS Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • The control information is displayed on:
    • The local CRTS “Systel” monitor
    • The remote computers monitors
The maximum total processed information capacity (ТС, ТУ, ТИТ) is up to 90 000 signals. The software The software includes the following program tools and data storage means:
  • program complex- Real-Time Monitor or "Monitor", that includes the following components
    • Data receiving/transmitting subsystem;
    • Data retranslation subsystem;
    • Initial data processing subsystem, that performs:
      • Access control;
      • Parameters fine calculation;
      • change of untrustworthy parameters for substitutes;
      • telecontrol commands execution blocking in accordance with the set terms;
    • Archiving subsystem;
    • Reservation subsystem –
      Provides the work of two machines devices architectures in the hot reservation mode;
    • Time synchronization subsystem
      • provides the devices work in astronomic time using : the satellite exact time systems GPS/GLONASS, exact time server using NTP protocol
      • using the external exact time masters using protocols ГОСТ Р МЭК 870-5-101-2001, IEC 60870-5-104-2000 and SystelNet;
    • Operative data base It is a dynamic file in computer memory, where the actual telemechanical information is kept.
    • Information display subsystem.
  • An in-built WEB –server for monitoring and diagnostics;
  • The “ Telemechanical AWS “ program complex in its cantilever and WEB versions that perform
    • data base access interface;
    • Telemechanical information visualization in different formats
    • bitstreams,logical diagrams (oscillograms)
    • Telecontrol and teleadjusting commands formation and output.
    • Telemechanical apparatus, connection lines testing and debugging, all the complex components diagnostics;
    • Archived files (event logs) construction on the hard disk;

Data exchange protocols

For data exchange on each direction different protocols are used:

For data exchange with TMD CU (Telemechanical Devices of a Controlled Unit) and other CRTS -
  • The domestic system protocols ТМ-512, ТМ-800В, Granit, ТМ-120, РПТ-80, МКТ-2, МКТ-3, УВТК-УН, industrial, on the international standard basis ГОСТ Р МЭК 870-5-101, ГОСТ Р МЭК 60870-5-104, COMPAS etc.;

For data exchange with OIC

The standard and expanded РПТ-ЭВМ protocol, the industrial on the international ГОСТ Р МЭК 60870-5-104 basis, the internal SystelNet protocol for software and hardware complex “Systel”;
  • for information transmitting to the Dispatcher’s Board (DB) -

    протоколы применяемой аппаратуры из состава различных систем телемеханики (Гранит, УВТК-Н, ТМ-512, ТМ-120, МКТ-3, МПТК, ТК-113, ТМ-800А, ТМ-800В), системы КСОТС и КЦОТИ или современных систем отображения на основе щитовых котроллеров.

    The appliances used protocols of the different telemechanical systems (Granit, УВТК-Н, ТМ-512, ТМ-120, МКТ-3, МПТК, ТК-113, ТМ-800А, and ТМ-800В), КСОТС and КЦОТИ systems or modern display systems on the board controllers’ basis.

    The supported protocols list may be enlarged on the customer’s demand.

Power supply- monophase net with alternating current - 220 V, 50 Hz. Permissible voltage variation - -20 to +10%, frequency variation 46÷52.5 Hz. The power consumption – not more than 350 ВА per halfset

Climatic performance group - В2.

The permissible ambient air temperature range-5÷35°C;

The permissible relative humidity- 10÷75% (at 30°C).

The overall dimensions and mass depend on the on-floor cabinet type, maximum ≈2000x800x800 мм, ≈166 kg.

Reliability index

The average nonfailure operating time for each line and for each function in regular conditions is no less than 18 000 hours.

Warranty period - 1 year.

The average life time is no less than 12 years.

Normative and legal background

The components used in CRTS “Systel”, undergo the incoming inspection in accordance with GOST 24297-87.

Protection against the environment influence - CRTS “Systel” has a regular design according to GOST 12997-84;

Climatic performance group- В2 according to GOST 26.205-88 и GOST Р МЭК 60870-2-2-2001.

By the human protection against the electric shock type CRTS “Systel” is classified according to GOST;

The electric characteristics of input and output signals of the line adaptors comply with the requirements of GOST 18145-81.
